Ilana is a learning designer, content strategist, writer and media producer with a passion for developing educational experiences at the intersection of digital and physical spaces. Her work at Hoot Owl Media is informed by twenty years of developing experiences focused on translating science to story and bringing abstract concepts to life. She has worked as an education researcher, museum exhibit developer, MOOC course developer, executive science editor, and educational media consultant. She holds a Master's in Environmental Science and Social Ecology from Yale University and a Bachelor's in History and French from Brandeis University. Ilana is fluent in Spanish and French.
